The Company
Founded in 2005, artist, photographer and jewelry designer, Sally Billings, developed sallyb out of a love for art of all kinds
and a need for creative outlet. Never being able to settle in just one artistic medium, Sally has chosen to pursue a variety
of creative works. Her limited edition fine art photographs capture a variety of subjects including nature, architecture and
still life through unusual, yet fascinating angles. Her jewelry designs are created for the woman who wants extraordinary
accessories to match every ensemble at an affordable price. Each work is created with a healthy dose of passion, loads
of enthusiasm and a touch of charm.
A graduate of Transylvania University, Sally earned her degree in both business management and studio art. From her
Eastern Kentucky roots to now making her home in Lexington, Kentucky, Sally enjoys the ability to combine her formal
training and her passion in this venture.
Sally's jewelry and fine art photography can be purchased via special appointment and at various art events throughout
the year.
The Name
Named for her two great grandmothers, Sally and Elizabeth, young Sally quickly earned the nickname Sally Beth. With
time, the nickname shortened to SallyB. With her married initial now matching that childhood moniker the name seemed
to be a natural fit.
The Bee
For more than 30 years, Sally's parents have owned and operated a thriving service business in Pikeville, Kentucky
named Busy Bee. The bees you'll find cleverly incorporated here and there are a tribute to her family and their years of
dedicated service.
Giving Back
We believe in giving back. It's that simple. Our heart is for young women and girls who need a helping hand. A portion of
all sales goes to benefit Assurance Care for Women and Girls, which provides free, confidential medical and counseling
services to women and girls with unplanned pregnancies regardless of age, ethnicity, religious or economic background.
